In 2023, students at the University of Utah’s Asia Campus in South Korea helped raise more than $2000 for Dding Ddong – Korea’s only queer youth shelter and support center. Donations were collected over the course of 12 weeks of tabling and roughly a half-dozen events, from a pie-throwing contest to a cookies and card-writing workshop to send messages to shelter visitors.
